Easter!

We had a super fun Easter! Lincoln is finally at the age where he is getting things....like an egg hunt! Anyways on Saturday we went to Grandpa Burr's house and had lunch and fed the horses and played on the slide. Then we had an awesome egg hunt, that Lincoln loved! He ran around with Randy picking up as many eggs as he could and put them all in his basket, then opened every single one. After the hunt we went in and dyed some eggs for the egg roll, I know it sound so weird but trust me is was the funniest thing I have ever seen. All the kids got like 2 hard boiled eggs and stood at the top of the hill and at the count of three they threw them down and whoever's egg lasted the longest won. Well they just had fun throwing the egg and then running down to get it then throwing it again and again! Really is sounds weird and a total waste of eggs but it was the best I think I will always do that with my kids!
Grandpa Burr has a horse named Nellie and a buggie that he got out and took all the kids on a ride, I must say it was a big hit!
On Sunday the Easter bunny came and gave Lincoln a Buzz Lightyear action figure and 2 cool sipper cups. We had eggs hidden around the house and we thought that Lincoln would love is but he figured out that there is candy inside so he just went around opening them and checking out the candy. But it was still so cute and fun! We had Dinner at our house so it was nice to host and have a nice meal with Kyle and Jill and Paul and Natalie! Lincoln hunting away and making sure Tyson didn't get more than he did! Randy with his Dad and Lincoln on the buggy! This is all the kids waiting at the top of the hill to throw their eggs!

Forts are COOL!

I remember as a little kid we would always make Sunday Forts, so Lincoln has gotten into the habit of taking all the cushions off the couch so we thought it would be fun to make a little fort for him! He had tons of fun driving his truck around inside it and playing peek-a-boo!

It's a GIRL!!! (or at least it will be)

So for those of you who don't know I am 20 wks. pregnant. We had our ultrasound on Friday and I was so nervous that I almost didn't want to find out what we were having but Randy thought I was just being silly. It's not that I preferred one to the other it was just that I am worried about how another sibling will effect Lincoln and what he might do to a little person. I am sure that every mom does this with her second so I am just passing it off as normal-if it is not please, DO NOT tell me. But we were so excited when she said that it was a girl, I have always said that I want just one girl, so that when I get old and crazy and can't wipe my bum there will be someone to do it for me.
So this new little baby will be born about the middle of July. My due date is the 23 but my Dr. will take her a week early and at my next appointment will we have an official date! That means that they will be just over 2 years apart. I am so so so excited that Lincoln will have a little sister and I am sure that he will be an awesome big brother! So now that we will have one of each we might be done! No pressure for a third right?
