Bryce Canyon

We had an opportunity come up this week to go down to Bryce Canyon. Despite what my mother says I have not been there, and I still hold to that about Delicate Arch, show me the pictures woman! Any way we left early on Friday morning because Randy had to be there at 10:30 for a job walk thru, but after that we just explored the park. We drove through the entire thing and stopped at some of the lookouts and the we walked around on the canyon rim for a while. I must say I think Bryce Canyon has to be my favorite. It was so beautiful. As we were driving there you go thru Red Canyon and I swear that is where they got some of the scenery for the Cars movie.

We stayed at Ruby's Inn just outside the park and had a fun night swimming and watching movies and eating popcorn! On our way home we stopped at Cove Fort, it was so neat I want to go back when the weather is warmer and more of the stuff is open. We had a very fun weekend and nice family vacation!

Moab

This past week we went down to Moab with our BFF's Emily and Dustin. They have a little boy who is about 5months younger than Lincoln so they get along great. And by get along I mean that Lincoln finally has someone younger than him that he can boss around, poor Jack. We went tent camping and did everything the "old fashion" way, we didn't even use paper plates there was a toilet and as a pregnant woman that is the most important thing out there!
Emily talked us into doing a hike, for those of you who don't know us we are not big hikers. We will hike it's just not something we choose to do, Randy's idea of a hike is from his 4wheeler to the motorcycle. All kidding aside I am 24wks, and as big as the Goodyear blimp, so I thought sure we could do a little hike. Emily assured us that the hike to Delicate Arch was easy and mostly flat no big deal. The pamphlet that the ranger gave us said it was strenuous, but what do they know right? ALOT! As we were scaling the face of the sandstone I felt angels pushing me, then I turned around and saw it was Emily. That's right folks I had to be pushed up a mountain like some pathetic fat lard! We did make it and because Emily is my BFF she took pictures of me on the hike that I will BURN!
We did have tons of fun and the hike was totally worth it, I had never seen Delicate Arch before. We definitely made some really great memories!

Glitter Toes! ~ sorry for the gross toes!

I thought it might be time for a little update! Well first of all I am an old lady, for those of you who forgot, my birthday was Monday. Yes I do hate you for not calling or making any effort at all, yes it is to late! For those of you who did remember..I LOVE YOU and you made my day very special so thank you!
So Monday was awesome I went and got a maternity massage, let me tell you it was awesome just what the Dr. ordered. Then I had Cafe Rio with my mom and dad, put Lincoln down for a nap and I read and napped while he did. Then Randy came home early! IT WAS THE BEST! I really hate planning things-especially for myself so when Randy asked what I wanted to do for my b-day I told him I didn't care as long as I didn't have to plan it. So we went to Hollywood Connection-where we went on our first date,{awwwwwww} and we played put-put, bumper cars, we went on the carousel about 10 times, thank you Lincoln, the best part was when we went roller skating. I can not tell you how funny it was! First off Randy and I both looked like massive idiots neither of us have been skating since we were like 12, I am prego and we have the cutest little boy in between us tyring with all his little might to stay up on his skates. We only made it half way around the rink for obvious reasons.
I have to say I am not excited about being 26-it's just way to close to 30, but this was the best birthday that I have had in a long time. Yes I do remember last year we were in the Dominican Republic but I don't consider fearing for my life fun!
Tuesday we had a Dr. appointment to make sure everything was good with our little girl and I am happy to say that she is doing well and growing like a weed! I did learn that all my kids will have Randy's cute little "pig" nose and be lacking in the chin department at least at birth anyway, Lincoln's chin eventually came in. But we could totally see that in the ultrasound it was really funny. I guess I won't know for sure until she is out, but I am pretty sure that all my kids will look the same! The best moment was when we did get a little glimpse of her, I saw my baby.
I am so sorry blah blah blah. Last but not least Molly and I went down to the local beauty school and got Glitter gel nails, um they rock! Nica I hope you are jealous They are supposed to last a month of so- I'll let you know when they fall off. But they put them on with gel so it's not just paint it's more like acrylic, but not as tough. So much fun I want to learn how they did it so I can do it to myself and mix it up!
Sorry for the long boring stuff, but I am updating my blog and that's what matters, right Lindsey?
